​​1. Payments for keys and services.

 

Once a service has been booked, we require payment of the service call made prior to travel via a secure square payment link. This is done in order to reserve the appointment and to protect our company from no-shows or arriving to a jobsite alongside pre-booked competitors at a loss. The square link safeguards customers as they can dispute payments made by card. This fee is 100% refundable ONLY if cancelled prior to departure or if Car-Tek, due to unforeseen circumstances, cannot fulfill the appointment. The full payment of the work order invoice is due on arrival before work begins. All special key, fob, module, locks and hardware pre-orders require payment upfront.

​​2. Identification.

 

We require identification for lockouts and all keys lost situations. Government Issued Driver's Licenses and Vehicle Registration.​

3. Attempt to program Fee of 45$ and 75$ Diagnostics Fee.

 

We reserve the right to retain a 45$ attempt to program fee when CUSTOMER supplied keys fail to register to host vehicles they are trying to be programmed to. A waiver must be signed also stating that since we did not supply the key, no warranty on the key itself can be provided. Separately, If we are unable to program a key to a vehicle due to a mechanical issue unrelated to the security system, we reserve the right to charge a 75$ Diagnostics Fee. This Includes a diagnostics report of the vehicle's trouble codes from our scan tool.

4. Refunds Full/Partial. 

 

Car-Tek Locksmith Ltd provides full refunds on labor services unfulfilled except for service calls. Partial Refunds are processed for pre-ordered hardware or keys minus shipping and restocking fees of 30%.

5. Warranties.

 

We offer a 1 Year warranty on Car-Tek Supplied Vehicle Keys. (Does not apply to water or physical damage). We offer 5 Year Warranty on the N.C.N.S Anti-Theft System with Installation with extensions available. As mentioned above, we do not offer warranty on CUSTOMER supplied keys.
